Codeword

Codeword is a type of word puzzle that requires you to complete a crossword-style grid by filling in words. Instead of letters, each alphabet is substituted with a number from 1 to 26. No clues are given except for one word already filled in as a starting point.

How to play Codeword

To begin playing, click on a cell and type in the letter you believe belongs there. All other cells with the same number will automatically be filled in with that letter. If you make a mistake, simply enter another letter in the cell or use the Space or Delete key.

To get a hint, click on the "Hint" button, and the correct letter for the highlighted cell will be filled in.

A new puzzle is posted each day, and an archive of the previous two weeks' puzzles is also available.
