Oundle
Oundle (obviously a town in Northamptonshire) is a variation that uses ONLY British place names.
The answer words are nearly all in the top 1000 by population, making them easier to guess because more people are likely to have heard of them. However, the larger dictionary is based on a massive list of settlements from the Gazetteer of British Place Names.
Places with multi-word names have been omitted unless they are commonly referred to by a single-word variant (e.g. Clacton is permitted because it is not commonly referred to as Clacton-on-Sea). Regardless, this game is pretty difficult, so don't say we didn't warn you!
Every day, in order to progress in the Oundle game, you will need to solve a mystery puzzle. In this wordle-style geography game, the rules are straightforward and uncomplicated.
How to play
This game is similar to Wordle, and it has the following rules:
- You have six chances to guess the target word.
- After each guess, Mastermind-style feedback is provided.
