Semantle
Semantle is a word search game, but unlike other games that are based on spellings of words, Semantle is based on word meanings. When you make a guess, you will be assessed how similar your guess is to the target word.
Semantle is CHALLENGE. It's fun to play by yourself, but if you find it too difficult, it's great to play with friends or check out the communities for suggestions.
How to play
The game is a unique word search game in that it is based on the definitions of words. You are provided with a rating that indicates how similar your guess is to the target word as you make guesses.
Guesses that are closer to the correct answer will be displayed in green and have a higher score, whereas guesses that are further from the correct answer will not be colored and will have a lower score.
Each guess has a "score" indicating how cold or hot you are compared to the target. This similarity score is the only clue, and it uses nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc., making it harder to guess than Wordle's six tries. The developer estimates that users will "probably need dozens of guesses" to find the word.
