Trekle
Trekle is a popular word game that requires rapid thinking and attention. It also helps with spelling and vocabulary development. This game is the ever-evolving religion of Words. The game entered our lives behind a veil of haze, slowly degrading my Twitter schedule since late 2021, and promising only a riddle that could be solved in between 30 seconds and 15 minutes.
In this hybrid of Scrabble and Hangman, players construct words out of the available tiles. There are word lists for the game in many other languages, but the English version's dictionary only has about 500 words. Once you're familiar with the rules, it's simpler to keep up with the fast-paced game where players scramble to think of words as quickly as possible by reading their word lists and calculating the remaining letters.
How to play
This wordle-like game is simple to play, and there are some ground rules:
- Guess the word in six attempts.
- The color of the tiles will change after each guess to show how close your guess was to the word.
- Starting on Sunday, the difficulty of the words increases throughout the week.
Rules: Earlier in the week, common words Apostrophes are not used, so D'vana is spelled "DVANA." The KLI spelling is used for Klingon words.
